Project Summary
A.L. Consulting Group was engaged by EW Howell Construction Group to provide comprehensive compliance monitoring services on the $59 million PS 206K project in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, a new 5-story, 60,000-square-foot school addition administered by the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA).
The project involved the construction of a structural steel-framed building addition to the existing Joseph F. Lamb School, originally built in 1924. The new addition features classrooms, art and music rooms, a cafeteria and kitchen, a fully electric heating system, and an environmentally friendly green roof, representing a significant investment in public education infrastructure in Brooklyn.
