Metro Bridge Partners is a joint venture comprising Skanska USA, Skanska Koch, Traylor Bros., and Parsons Brinckerhoff, formed to deliver the $1.5 billion Goethals Bridge Replacement Project one of the most significant transportation infrastructure projects in the northeastern United States. The project involved the construction of two new parallel cable-stayed bridges carrying I-278 traffic across the Arthur Kill channel between Staten Island, New York and Elizabeth, New Jersey, replacing an aging structure that had served the region since 1928.
A.L. Consulting Group was retained by the Metro Bridge Partners joint venture to build and manage a comprehensive SMB diversity compliance program ensuring that the project met all Federal and state DBE participation requirements on a federally funded, P3-delivered infrastructure contract administered by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
