Project Summary
A.L. Consulting Group was engaged to provide comprehensive compliance monitoring and workforce participation support services for the MTA East Side Access – Manhattan North Structures (CM006) project, one of the largest transportation infrastructure developments undertaken in New York City. The project formed a critical component of the East Side Access initiative, designed to connect the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Grand Central Terminal, significantly improving regional transportation accessibility and commuter capacity across the metropolitan area.
The Manhattan North Structures package involved major underground structural work, tunnel systems, ventilation facilities, utility coordination, and supporting transportation infrastructure improvements within one of the most densely developed urban environments in the United States. The project required strict coordination across multiple agencies, contractors, labor groups, and compliance stakeholders while maintaining uninterrupted city operations and public safety standards. Regulatory Compliance Monitoring
